We’re currently offering a single room for rent in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in all of San Luis Obispo County (if not all of California)! There’s absolutely stunning horizon-wide Ocean Views from the living room, dining room, main balcony, and kitchen. Being only about 1500 ft away from the shoreline, the calming sound of the ocean waves can frequently be heard.
This large (1800sqft) $1.5M+ home is a relatively recent build and has a modern, open floor plan for the upstairs common areas. The sharable common areas include, the main balcony, grandroom (living room, dining room, and kitchen), laundry room, downstairs bathroom, and backyard.
As you enter the house you’re welcomed by the two downstairs bedrooms that are currently for rent. The first floor also includes a shared bathroom and walk-in laundry room.
Grandroom - As you rise up the stairs you will arrive in the grandroom (living, dining and kitchen) where there is a huge 88in 4K TV, competition size pool (billiards) table, and fireplace. There’s a large picture window facing out to the ocean with a deep frame that’s wide enough to sit on and watch the ocean.
Kitchen - The kitchen is quite large and includes a long peninsula with seating. It is appointed with Cherry wood cabinets and tile countertops. Included is a dishwasher, gas stove / convection oven, and a microwave / convection oven.
Bathroom - Includes a shower/tub combo and has ample storage for bathroom supplies. The bathroom is shared with one other housemate.
Main Balcony - Outdoor table and chairs. Plenty of room to hang out with friends.
Backyard - Directly abuts the Pismo Preserve which is a highly desirable hiking area. There’s also a high-end gas barbecue, outdoor heaters, and a beautiful granite outdoor dining table.

CURRENT HOUSEMATES
Erika graduated from Cal Poly and is a multi-subject credentialed teacher. Erika now owns and operates a tutoring company and has experience in special education. For fun she likes experimenting in the kitchen, SCUBA diving, breaking her ankle while skydiving, and hanging out with friends at the beach.
Scott is also a Cal Poly graduate where he majored in mechanical engineering. He now designs and develops new medical devices at his company in SLO. As far as recreational activities go, he is experienced with Skydiving, Rock Climbing, SCUBA Diving, Paragliding, Speed Flying (High-Speed Paragliding), Snowboarding, Speed Riding (High-Speed Paragliding while Snowboarding).
Our friendly dogs, Cruise and Cooper, are best buddies and started off their journey as kennelmates down south. We are not currently accepting new pet roommates 🐕
WHO WE’D LIKE TO LIVE WITH
We’re looking for housemates who are responsible, respectful, laid back, and reasonably clean. We prefer people who are fun and social as opposed to those who might prefer to stay perpetually sequestered in their rooms. It should go without saying, but you must be able to clean up after yourself.
REQUIREMENTS
- 12-Month Lease Period (Minimum).
- A background check, credit check, and a co-signer will be required (NO exceptions).
- A security deposit equal to one month's rent is required.
- Utilities and household expenses will be split evenly between each housemate.
- No Cigarette Smokers, vaping or heavy drinking
