Volunteers are needed to help the Cal Poly Cat Program in many ways. You can be most helpful by volunteering in the on-campus shelter where many cats are being nursed back to health by students and other dedicated volunteers. We always have a need to assist with feeding, brushing, socializing and otherwise pampering these poor kitties who need some TLC. There is always cleaning, sweeping and laundering towels to keep up with as well.
Another fantastic way to be of service is by fostering a cat or kittens in your home while they wait for their forever home. It's a great way to enjoy having a cat without the long term commitment! You can help keep them socialized and less stressed in a home environment which helps their adoptability.
