CDL A Driver $20 - $30/hr

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive trucks with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 26,000 pounds
• Tow loads exceeding 10,000 pounds
• Securely attach tractor units to trailer hitches and ensure all connections are safe
• Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance (oil, fuel, tire pressure, etc.)
• Ensure all cargo is securely packed and organized for safe transport
• Follow assigned delivery routes, schedules, and rest periods
• Maneuver and park tractor-trailers safely in various environments
• Utilize GPS and other routing systems to navigate efficiently

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A)
• Ability to work variable hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience operating electric lifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks
• Strong attendance and reliability
