We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and backhoes to support construction and site operations while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, and dump trucks
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Follow project plans, grade stakes, and safety procedures
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized worksite
Communicate with supervisors and crew members
Adhere to all company and OSHA safety regulations
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures
Ability to read grade stakes and site plans (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and safety
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
Preferred Skills
Mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
