I hit a piece of pipe in the road and ruined the tire. Had a new tire put on in the middle of no where. After I drove for about 3 to 4 thousand miles it had a very slight shimmy, the tire place never told me the wheel was bent, they just wanted to get rid of me after waiting 4 days for the new tire.
Took it to tesla to get it balanced and found it was slightly bent on the back side, not dented, bent, big difference when getting it straightened. bent on the outer part of the rim. Checked with a place up north and said it was no big deal to straighten it.
Found a new wheel so I made this my spear tire, did not want to go anywhere without it.
The tire is almost new.
When you are in a pinch this will do the job.
These tires are not easy to get ahold of when you are out on the road.
This wheel came off of my 2021 model S refresh.
The tread depth is 8/32 (not much more when it is new) and like I said it has somewhere around 3 to 4 thousand miles on the tire but I would say closer to 3 thousand miles.
It is the Tire and wheel with the center cap.
Not sure how many years it will fit but I do know that it will not fit the model S before the 2021 refresh.
It will fit 2021, 22 and 23 refresh model S.
It is off of the front so it will either fit the front or rear in a pinch.
The pictures will show everything about the tire, type and size.
