Hello Central Coasters!
I’m Erin. I live here at The Manor at Figlandia West. We are a community of professionals ranging in age living on the Nipomo/Arroyo Grande Mesa. The Manor is 3 stories, 10 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, on 5 acres and is tucked away at the end of a private road. We are in the process of converting the outdoors to an edible landscape. We are growing figs trees, avocado trees, citrus and apple trees, and installing a vegetable garden on the left side of the house. We also have chickens (farm fresh eggs), and two sweet house cats who loves to take naps on sunny windowsills.
The main level of the Manor has been newly renovated with new floors and a spacious kitchen with quartz countertops and a top-of-the-line range. There are cozy sitting rooms where you can chill and watch movies or read, listen to music, or simply lounge.
Our "manormates" are as diverse as the backgrounds we come from. We work in the restaurant, healthcare, distribution, and financial industries. We speak a number of different languages and have varied hobbies and interests. The shared values that unite us are communication, respect, transparency, adaptability, reciprocity, and a good sense of humor.
We are currently looking for more kind souls to join us. We are a small community, and while this may seem like a lot, the Manor remains quiet and tranquil. Everyone is on different schedules and there are times when you are the only one at home. There is plenty of space to stretch out in.
Utilities to include water (well), electricity (solar with battery backup), propane, trash and Starlink internet ($100/person/month), and a common fund for items like toilet paper, cleaning products, cleaners for cleaning of the common areas and bathrooms every two weeks etc ($65/person/month) managed by the Manormates) are our shared responsibility.
