My name is Annie. I am a pet service provider with PROFESSIONAL VETERINARY TECHNICIAN TRAINING. I have a little under two years' experience working in a small animal veterinary clinic. I have been trained as a veterinary technician assistant. My primary job was to assist the multiple veterinarians in providing medical care to dogs and cats. This equates into a wide range of responsibilities including: observing animals for behavioral changes, administering medications/shots, monitoring animals under anesthesia, assisting in surgery, and interacting with animals of all temperaments (shy, aggressive, fearful, excited, ect). Before I advanced into the position of a veterinary technician I was a kennel attendant. As a kennel attendant my primary responsibility was to care for the dogs and cats boarding. This entailed feeding, exercising, maintaining strict sanitary standards, observing animal behavior and recognizing distress of emergency situations.
My experience with animals in and out of the clinic has prepared me to handle with confidence any situation that may arise while pet sitting or dog walking. Health concerns, behavioral problems, separation anxiety, shyness, and aggressive animals are all scenarios that I have come across and know how to handle appropriately. In addition to experience with caring for animals I also have an unconditional love to all living things, especially our furring little friends. Your beloved pet will be under caring, attentive, responsible care.
