What we seek: We are currently looking for for a personable, professional, and quick-learning administrative assistant for a food manufacturing company. The Administrative Assistant will field customer calls and manage office duties including AP, AR, Invoicing , administering food safety programs and documentation, website management, and general correspondence. This position requires someone able to manage a variety of tasks in assisting the office and production managers.
About us: we are a longtime local manufacturer taking great pride in our products and reputation. We love our customers, and this position is key to supporting our customer relationships. You will be part of a small office doing good work.
Proficient in Quickbooks and MS Office
Knowledge of ADOBE
Strong computer skills
Aptitude in learning new programs
Extremely detail oriented and organized
Handle multi-job functions
Excellent communication and writing skills
Customer service skills
Ability to problem solve an think critically on your feet
Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Manage phones/e-mail: taking orders from customers large and small, and answering specific product questions.
- Manage product documentation and food safety/quality certifications.
-Manage accounting/ invoicing/shipping system
- Manage vendor payment
- Manage filing system
