Bassist Bill Wingfield is offering instruction for electric bass (4&5 string, fretless) as well as double bass. Current level is not important but students must be dedicated to improvement on the instrument and be able to put in practice or play time. Students will learn to read music (if unable to) and learn fundamentals, but lessons will also be tailored for the student's preferred genre(s). Lessons are one hour for $40 and are taught privately in Paso Robles. Please send an email with current level, musical areas of interest, and contact info.

Improve your playing, play cleaner, learn the whole fretboard and not just part of it, learn theory, how to read music, learn how to interact with a band. Fretted or fretless 4 or 5-string. All styles, including rock, blues, R&B, funk, jazz, fusion or bluegrass. Instruction catered to your needs.

Bill Wingfield has been a bassist since age 15, starting in an 18-piece big band at age 16. He moved to the central coast in 1999, and has been the bassist for the Steve McCann Jazz Band, Brett Mitchell as well as for Human Nation. He has been the bassist for the Joy Bonner Band for 9 years. He has taught on the Central Coast since 2000 and has taught the bass course for the National Guitar Workshop in Los Angeles.
