condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Fender
model name / number: Vibro champ
1970 Vibro champ, very clean! really No dings all around, but a couple little spots of green paint (pictured). Faceplate is also quite nice for a silverface with minimal pitting and scratching. fresh sprague bypass caps and CE cap can, three prong cord, and a few resistors replaced with higher wattage metal film resistors in power/bias section for reliabilty. also tubes have been replaced. Other than that, ccompletely original. pictures show a Weber alnico currently installed but amp will sell with original ceramic speaker in it. I will sell the Weber for a good price as well if you’d like. 1970 is a good year for fenders in terms of bang for buck. Like black face and early silverface drip edge amps, they have the screwed on baffle and fender logo with the tail, and a solid pine cabinet. Also, these early 70s amps have stunning grill cloth colors! all in all, this amp sounds amazing, runs very quiet, is ready for years of reliable playing, and is quite attractive
