Bought new in 1995. I am the second owner.
Everything works fine and is in great condition. I got the whole kit from a friend about 15 years ago, used it for a while and it has sat in our bedroom for the last few years, getting occasional play time.
The bass has comfortable action, and can be adjusted easily at the bridge. I've taken good care of the fret board, keeping it clean and oiled. Satin finish neck slides smooth. Lots of controls for tone and pickup mixing. Runs on a single 9V battery that lasts months under regular use. The 4" leather strap makes for comfortable playing all evening. And the extra strings will save you a few bucks.
Finish has the usual minor scratches that can be polished out easily, but otherwise very shiny and clean. No noticeable dings and no chips at all. No buckle scrapes on the back. A little bit of buffeting around the strap buttons and top sides of the pickups.
The tweed hard case is in nice condition. Only a few scuffs on the exterior. Interior is fully intact, furry and soft, and holds the bass secure and comfortable. It's gotten a little faded in a section on the logo end of the case, from sun coming in the window.
