Position Overview
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting parts, products, and processes using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet established standards. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect parts and products using measuring instruments
• Verify dimensions and ensure conformance to specifications and blueprints
• Identify defects and non-conforming materials
• Compare finished products to specifications or models
• Set gauges and measuring devices per requirements
• Assist with calibration and maintenance of equipment
• Follow safety practices and maintain a clean work environment
• Work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–4 years of related experience preferred
• Experience using gauges and measuring tools required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Machine shop or machining background preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Pay rate: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience
