The Production Department at Andros Engineering is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working in a professional metal shop operating a CNC Lathe, Plasma Cutter, and Manual Machines commonly found in metal shops.
REQUIREMENTS:
• High attention to detail
• Work independently to manage time, schedule and prioritization with input from supervisor
• Effectively communicate with engineering and others to problem solve
• Ask questions, clarify instructions and take constructive feedback in a professional manner
• Accurately read and interpret documentation to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished part, sequence of operations and setup requirements
• Setup and adjustment of tool offsets using a probe.
• Adjustment of offsets to meet print dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspection of critical dimensions using standard metrology tools.
• Ability to recognize tool breakage/need for indexing or changing tools.
• Proficiency in manual lathe and mill operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Position is hourly with wages based on experience ($25-$35/hr.)
