Looking for a part-time position with a consistent weekday schedule? United Staffing Associates is hiring a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate for a well-established company in the local wine industry.
This role combines regional delivery driving with hands-on warehouse work, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and being part of a team. You'll transport wine products throughout Central and Southern California while assisting with shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and general warehouse operations between delivery routes.
Job Duties
• Drive a company box truck to deliver wine products throughout Central and Southern California.
• Load, unload, move, and transport wine products and related materials.
• Assist with receiving, storing, organizing, and preparing shipments.
• Safely operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and maintain required documentation.
• Follow all company safety policies and safe driving practices.
• Assist with general warehouse operations as needed.
Requirements
• Valid California driver's license.
• Driving record that meets the company's vehicle insurance requirements.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, move, and transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.
• Reliable and consistent attendance.
• Ability to report to the Paso Robles worksite as scheduled.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience.
• Experience driving box trucks or making delivery routes.
• Familiarity with inventory handling, shipping, and warehouse operations.
Schedule
This is a part-time position that is anticipated to work Wednesday through Friday, generally from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Hours may vary based on delivery schedules and warehouse needs. Some delivery routes may require extended workdays that result in overtime.
Pay Rate
$20.00 per hour
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment screenings, which may include drug screening (where permitted by law), and a driving record review.
