What You'll Do
• Manage the day-to-day operations of residential landscape construction projects.
• Lead, coach, and work alongside a field crew to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to keep jobs running efficiently.
• Review landscape plans and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
• Install and oversee irrigation systems, drainage, planting, lighting, hardscape, concrete, fencing, planting installation and other landscape features.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site.
• Communicate regularly with project managers regarding progress, scheduling, and any field challenges.
• Perform quality control inspections throughout each phase of construction.
• Train crew members on proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and company standards.
• Operate construction equipment and power tools safely while ensuring routine maintenance is performed.
What We're Looking For
• At least 3 years of hands-on landscape construction experience.
• Previous experience supervising or directing crews is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of residential landscape construction, including irrigation, grading, planting, and hardscape installation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and landscape plans.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to solve problems in the field.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
• Valid California driver's license preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
