Vintage set of 5 14”x11” clip-framed fruit crate labels. Their condition is mixed, with a couple being perfect and others having small flaws like torn corners as shown in the pictures.
These prints will bring nostalgic charm to any room. Crate labels like these were first introduced on the Pacific Coast in the mid-1880s. Pasted onto wooden shipping crates, these labels were designed to attract attention in produce markets across the country. Most were discarded after use, making surviving examples like this one highly collectible.
