We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This role supports veterinarians and technicians in delivering high-quality patient care while providing excellent service to pet owners.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with exams and procedures
• Safely restrain animals
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment
• Collect lab samples
• Administer medications (under supervision)
• Maintain clean, organized treatment areas
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Veterinary or animal care experience preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
This is a fast-paced job that requires heavy lifting, bending, walking and being on your feet most of the day. The clinic’s cleanliness and sanitation, as well as animal comfort and health, are priorities of the job. Client services and client communication are also involved.
