These eggs will hatch into Olive Egger chicks. Hens laying these eggs are covered by a rooster homozygous for the olive egg gene.
Dark brown speckled and non-speckled or olive eggs laid by my hens were fertilized by olive gene rooster. The chicks that wind up pullet (female) will be olive egg layers.
My eggs are fresh and should be put in the incubator within about a week.
