14 Proof Sets. A complete 13 year run; 1956 to 1968. Includes both 1960 sets: the Large Date and the rarer Small Date variety. The 1962 and 1958 sets are in plastic presentation cases. The others are in original US Mint packaging. The US Mint did not officially issue proof sets 1965-1967. This offer includes the Special Mint Sets made those three years.
Most coins have the standard proof finish, but some show mirroring and frosting. 2 of the Franklin Halves have small toning spots
Pricing these sets is fluid these days with silver all over the place. The 1956 set sells on line for ~$150, and changes daily/weekly. And there is no shipping/handling/fees/etc.
Combined, these 14 sets contain just over 6.74 ounces of silver. So the price starts with the spot price of silver. AND, since the offer is in the form of 55 PROOF coins (+15 Special Mint Set coins) I’m adding $120 to the spot price. Today’s spot is $80. $80 x 6.74 = $539 + $120 = $659.
