Frame: Columbus double-butted steel, 62 cm. Columbus tubing was the choice for many high-end custom road bikes in the 1980s and 1990s. $2250.00 or Best Offer!
Builder: From the shop of Dave Moulton, a highly regarded English framebuilder who worked in California in the 1980s. His frames (Recherche, Fuso, and John Howard branded bikes) are collectible and known for superb geometry and craftsmanship.
Brand/Decal: Recherche with the Swiss crest – this was one of the boutique labels Dave Moulton produced frames under before settling on “Fuso.” Very limited numbers were made.
Components: Full Shimano Dura-Ace (looks like mid/late 1980s group, judging by the crankset, down tube shifters, and side-pull brakes).
Serial Number: #175 – very early in the production run. Collectors often pay a premium for low production-number frames.
This bike is in very good original condition, rides smooth, fast with light steel, classic geometry.
