Bought this E-bike when I was helping someone else look for an e-bike a few months ago so it is basically new with 18+ months left on the warrantee. I paid $2,100 otd with a new pump purchased at the same ticket. This was the sale price I paid, and bike comes with the front basket that I have not installed yet. Level 5 cruises up to 28 mph. It also has a throttle in case you don't feel like petal at all.
You can ride the bike with the rear battery in or out, I usually leave it out to save 8 lbs or whatever it weighs. Bike still gets a 50-mile range on the frame battery. The Auxiliary battery that slides inside the rear rack adds maybe 30 more miles. I was going to test the range someday, but had yet to try a long ride. 30 mile ride used about half the battery, and I did not even have the rear battery in. so I expect a rider that rides conservative can get 80 or 90 miles on a charge.
