For sale is an electric motor off a vintage Craftsman table saw. The motor is model 115.7534. It is 3/4 hp; capacitor start; ball bearings. 3450 prm; 115 volts; 60 cycles; 10.0 amps. It has type CR220K37 on the label. The motor also has an on-off switch built into the base of the motor.
When I got the motor I checked the lubricant in the bearings and it appear to be somewhat hardened. I worked some new lubricant into the bearings and then ran the motor for 2 hours (no load). There was no heat build up in the bearings that I could feel, but there was a bit of warmth in the shaft. I do not know much about motors and do not know if this is of significance. I am simply trying to forthright and above board.
The exterior of the motor has some rust on it. (see pictures)
