Hola- I'm Josh, a 24 year old from San Diego, and I'm moving to SLO the second week in August. I just spent the weekend up there with my cousins, & quality real estate seems to be hard to come by.

I have a few necessities I'm looking for, but if those bases are covered, the situation should be pretty awesome for you, and me.

I'm a pretty laid back guy, and I get along fine with anybody. I keep my place really clean, and stay on top of household chores. I eat pretty healthy, I'm really active, and I don't smoke. I generally just do all the things that one would expect of an adult.

Some of the things I need to find in a place are:

Private room- Preferably decent sized, as I have a king size bed

Private bath- Not essential, but I definitely keep mine clean which seems to be atypical.

Garage/Storage space- I have tools/parts/camping/fishing gear I keep in my garage

Room for furniture- I have a nice suede couch set, a bar-height dark wood/black leather seat dining set, two bookshelves, and some kitchen appliances (coffee pot, toaster, rice maker, knife set, spice rack...)

Backyard/Patio- Not essential, but I have a sectional patio couch set, and a 14' diameter above ground pool.

As for me- I'm a pretty open minded guy, into camping, reading, hiking, surfing, mountain biking, fishing, good music, good beer, wine, bbqing, and inevitably now- studying.

Hello I have been out here in Morro bay for a few weeks looking for a place to live and here is my last effort in finding a place before going back to Taos New Mexico.
In driving around � out above Cambria and around, I see lots of farmhouses and barns.

I am a 59 year old recently single woman on a fixed income.
The house I am living in is facing foreclosure soon and I am about to become homeless here shortly. I've got a house full of furniture and stuff I've collected over the past 40 years and nowhere to move it.
I'm partially disabled and collect SSI so I'm eligible for section 8 housing, however, after doing much research and contacting all possible resources, come to find that low income housing will be closed for possibly the next few years. You can't even get on the waiting list.
When I asked them if I was the only woman in this situation, they laughed and said there are lots of us. You would think they'd have a bullitin board or some kind of network to get similar women together but they don't.
So...looks like it is up to me.
Most of the ads I've seen for shared housing is either too expensive or for college aged kids. I'm sure they don't want some grandma type moving in and ruining their fun, and I've already raised my kids. I'd rather be with women my own age who are a little more..settled and don't stay up partying all night except maybe in the Internet chat rooms
I can afford $350-400 rent. If 4 of us got together and found a 4 bedroom house to rent, I'll bet we could live comfortably. And with the CARE for utilities and lifeline phone, we could save on those too.
Please, don't contact me if you require special medical attention. I'm just looking for single older women, either working or on a fixed income to share a house and get a little bit better quality of living for ourselves.
