You are invited to “POPE II – A Holy, Political, Musical
Cabaret.” at the World Rhythm and Motion Center, 160 South
Street, next to the SLO Greyhound Bus Station.
POPE the Musical was first introduced way
back in 2006. Now, the pupa (or Papa) has turned into
a butterfly! We have a new show to offer you!
How is it new? Sister Betty is still at the piano.
Mother Agnes Joseph (Joelyn Lutz) and (Gale McNeeley)
are still on stage, but we have added two wonderful
women to the show, Brie Leatham and Christina
Landeros! And we have shuffled the characters around
so that everyone is playing someone new.
There are new songs, new scenes and new characters.
Let us surprise with you with new songs and characters
from the “American Political Idol 2008.”
“W” is a real Scrooge these days, so the show begins
with “A Political Carol” by U. Little Dickens.
