My band is confirmed to play Live Oak festival - we need a drummer for Sat, June 14th and a number of rehearsals beforehand. 45 min set.
This is a benefit show for KCBX Public Radio, with full production, lighting, etc - a super-fun show, probably the best in the area unless you're playing the SB Bowl a lot.

Music: dynamic alt rock / pop set, with atmospheric touches. Trio, some cool loops. You'll have fun.

We're need someone who is:
- a super-solid player, w/ excellent sense of time. [ I don't want to have to tell you you you're rushing, ever. ]
- reliable, dedicated, committed to putting on a good show
- a collaborative personality, no drug/alchohol/GF/BF/car/work/other problems
- a creative part writer when called on, but willing to play parts as-written if need be.
- Ability to play against loops without freaking out / losing the beat. Not all songs have loops, but some do - use this to your advantage.
- A musical player - not a dumb beat machine, but a person who understands musical context, how to support a song, dynamics.

This is sometimes loud rock music, with a subtle pop center - be able to play that.

We are a local production company doing a series for public access tv. We are in production and hope to air by May 31. Our show is about local sustainability projects. The name of the show is Hole in the Fence. Our first show is how to build a raised bed, making a tumbler composter, composting, companion gardening. My name is matt, I am twenty-five, and I am a drummer/vocalist. I have been playing music for over thirteen years. I am a music major at Cuesta College and have taken Music Theory, drum lessons, vocal training, and recording arts. I am looking for two guitar players and a bass player to play music with. Here's the catch though. Ideally, I would also like them to be able to sing. I don't want to be in a band that has a lead singer. I want everybody to be able to trade vocals off and on, and those who aren't singing lead need to be able to harmonize. This should not be difficult, I'm a DRUMMER, and I can do it! I would appreciate it if the responders were limited to people who CAN sing (it really isn't that hard, you're probably just nervous).
