Baywood Elementary--Lost/Stolen Baseball Mitt 5/2 (Los Osos)

Has someone you know brought home a mitt that doesn't belong to him/her?
My child recently played a game in Los Osos at Baywood Elementary Wed evening. He forgot his mitt. After calling the school office regarding the lost mitt we found out that it was turned in. (My son goes to Del Mar, otherwise he would have picked it up). After dropping by the school to pick it up, I was informed that it was put in the lost and found pile. After looking there, I went back to the office to make sure it was there. The custodian verified that he had put it there. My child has another game tomorrow, Saturday 5/3, and is very upset that someone took his mitt. My child was excited to learn that it was at the lost and found at school, only to go there and find out another kid took it. Perhaps it was a mistake. We just need the mitt back!
