Hiring an Au Pair?

Hiring a live in au pair is simple and professional.
I have people asking me all the time saying, why should I pay an agency to find me someone – I can find someone on my own…

Well – there are some very good reasons, and many families have made some mistakes that have cost them time and money. Yes, in today’s internet world you can hook up with someone overseas, and email and call them. They might persuade you to buy them a plane ticket, so they can come be your nanny. This rarely works out, someone gets off the plane, without the proper visa, and skips out on the family. Thanks for the plane ticket and entry to the US. Also, families say, why should I pay you to get an au pair a visa, I can get her one. Good luck. Working with an immigration attorney can be expensive, and there are many reasons the State Department does not want people bringing in others from overseas.

Our agency screens au pairs, we are part of a large international network. We do the visa paperwork, we provide health insurance, we provide support, we do background checks, screenings and reference checks. We interview them in English and in their native language.

We have a strenuous screening process unlike other agencies.. In other words, let an organization, sanctioned by the US State Dept, handle the hard part.

You tell us what you want and need in an au pair.

Be specific. We will present candidates that are going to fit your needs. We work with you, we don’t push au pairs on you and we don't make you sift out an au pair in a mix of applications. You are the only family reviewing that au pairs application so there is no competeing with another family. You interview the au pair to make the final decision.
The Au Pair program allows young adults from around the world, with excellent childcare experience and a love of children, the opportunity to come to the US, live with American families and provide much needed childcare for them. The minimum stay is one year and may be extended an additional 6, 9 or 12 months. Over 80,000 families in the US have used this program.
Now is the time to consider this opportunity: Savings discount of $250! This discount entitles families new to Cultural Care Au Pair to a $250 program fee discount when they apply between now and May 15, 2008 and welcome an au pair into their homes by October 10, 2008
