My husband, 2 year old daughter and I are currently looking for a 2 bedroom apartment or house (or large 1 bedroom), in Atascadero. My husband has a wonderful job, he loves, in which he works 10-12 hour days, 5-6 days a week. My daughter goes to school full time. We currently are renting a room in a lovely atascadero house. However, two families in one house gets a bit crowded at times.

The catch is that we do not have good credit. We are on the road to repairing it. In 2007, my husband and I were both working full time jobs, and I was going to get a promotion. However, at that time my husbands work was slowing down and I got pregnant. Due to unforeseen pregnancy complications, I had to give up my job and we could no longer afford the place we were living. We tried to find a less expensive place, but could not. We were evicted. We are planning on having everything paid off at the begining of the year.

With this issue, we have had problems renting. Although I understand from a landlords point the problem with this, we still need housing. We can provide excellent references from places we've rented from since and are willing to provide proof of income. If there is any possibility of renting from a property, PLEASE let us know. We would like to find a place within the Atascadero area (as this is where my husband works and my daughter has school). We can comfortably afford around $900 a month (we are estimating about $200 for utilities). Willing to exchange work for rent.
