We are a group of women of various ages (late 20s to 50s) and varied backgrounds (film, law, academia, social services) who like to read and discuss a wide variety of books. We've read novels such as Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See, Digging to America by Anne Tyler and non fiction such as The Glass Castle by Jeneatte Walls. Currently, we are plowing through Supreme Conflict: The Inside Story of the Struggle for Control of the U.S. Supreme Court by Jan Crawford Greenburg.
Although some of us are from South and North County, we generally meet on Sundays at a local coffee shop in SLO (It's a Grind, in the Old Navy Complex on LOVR) at 11 am. Our next meeting will be Sunday, June 1 at 11 a.m. at the coffee shop.
