This is a house which may provide an ideal setting for those seeking unique living arrangements. I am a current tenant of the ground floor posting this for my landlord. It is actually a 4 bedroom house with 3 rooms on the main floor and a large open studio on the second floor. SEE THE SEPARATE LISTING FOR PICTURES AND DETAILS ON THE STUDIO. One of the ground floor rooms has its own entrance in common with the studio upstairs. The other 2 rooms are separated by a door from the common hallway and has its own additional entrance as well. There is a decent sized living room, good sized kitchen and small full bathroom. The upstairs has a kitchenette(no stove)but everything else and a full bath and balcony. TO CLARIFY, WE PAID $1500 FOR THE GROUND FLOOR AND THE GUY UPSTAIRS PAID $785 FOR THE STUDIO UPSTAIRS. I mention this because there has been a little confusion as some people interpreted the $1500 as rent for the entire house; IT IS NOT. We also paid $50/mo for our dog making it $1550/mo for us. Guy upstairs had a cat and I'm uncertain how much of his rent was for the cat. House has a good sized fairly private backyard which was perfect for my dog and an outdoor gym I had set up. The landlord would like to maintain possession of the 1 car garage on site for his storage. He has informed us that he is open to different possible arrangements where rooms could be rented separately or collectively. Basically you work it out. If you are fine with sharing a house with others like yourself this might be exactly what you are looking for or if you want the whole house for a group then you really can't beat the price. All the rooms are very adequate as far as space goes and it is a beautiful neighborhood with hiking trails to the park up the street and within walking distance to town. The landlord lives 2 houses down so he is very accessible and attentive to your needs. Many things are negotiable with this landlord and we found him to be a very reasonable person to work with. This house worked perfectly for us this year...perhaps it could for you. Please email me with any questions you might have. Available June 1st.
