Pokemon trading for kids?? (Paso Robles)

I have an 8 year old who is Pokemon crazy and spends his allowance regularly on cads. I was looking for another mom in a similar situation who maybe we can get the kids together to do a little trading? My son has lots of duplicates and spends so much money trying to find ones he doesn't have, I thought if a couple of kids got together they could work together. Not interested in any money exchanged or trading for profit of any kind. Cards must be in good condition and be tradeable. Just a thought! We can talk more and see if it is a good idea. Not interested in long playdates or anything, just a quick little club or something. Maybe even meeting at the library for an half-hour once a month or something.
